Writer’s Group meets every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Walton-DeFuniak Public Library. Share your writing, get inspired with writing prompts, and learn writing tips. The writing prompts are a starting point for a story, poem or essay.

• May 6, 2023 – Write about a lazy weekend morning;
• May 20, 2023 – Write from the perspective of a guardian angel;
• June 3, 2023 – Write about the future;
• June 17, 2023 – Write about a parent’s wisdom;
• July 1, 2023 – Write a story based on an odd news headline;
• July 15, 2023 – Write about a wish;
• August 5, 2023 – Set your story in a very common place;
• August 19, 2023 – Write about two opposite people.
