Join experienced and novice writers on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month for an afternoon of sharing work, offering critique and tips, and socializing. Writer’s Group meets at the Walton-DeFuniak Public Library from 10:00 am to noon. These writing prompts are a starting point for a story, poem, or essay. September 2, 2023 – Write about mourning. September 16, 2023 – Write about a workaholic. October 7, 2023 – Write something based on a random quote generator. October 21, 2023 – Write a list and give it context. November 4, 2023 – Write about someone getting exactly what they want. November 18, 2023 – Write about hunger. December 2, 2023 – Include a flashback in your story. December 16, 2023 – Write about the ease of friendship. January 6, 2024 – Write about a very surprising tattoo. January 20, 2024 – Write about a support group. The Words on Wheels Bookmobile will be at the Hammock Bay Oktoberfest and Farmer's Market from 12PM-8PM. The Bookmobile will be open for circulation (check-in/check-out of library materials and to pick up holds.)
