Game Day for adults. We invite you to bring in your card table games to share with others in our community who visit the library on Thursdays from 1:00 until 4:00 pm. The meeting space at the library is made available for family friendly games that individuals bring in to share with those that are interested in playing or learning a new game. You are welcome to become a part of the Coastal Library Nonfiction Book club (Beyond the Spine). Meeting on the first Thursday each month starting at 4:00 pm at the Coastal Library. Ā Ā The book chosen for reading and discussion for November's meeting is Bill Brysonās A Walk In The Woods,Ā an oldie but goodie. We will continue to have open discussions on selecting future books to read. Come on out to share stories with each other, reflect on current book choice and offer encouragement to one another until the next month we meet again.Ā Beyond the Spine Nonfiction Book club welcomes you to join and enjoy.Ā Please call Linda at the library for more information 850-267-2809. Suggestions for future shared reading topics were biographies, such as Mark Twain (new Chernow book), and other people/events from the Gilded Age (Rebecca Edwards). Ā Interest in local history books was expressed:Ā The Way Things Were; Times Gone ByĀ were publications of the Three Arts Alliance in the late 1990ās with articles and original art by locals and are available at the Library.
