After school Chess Club meets on Tuesdays from 3-5:30 pm in the meeting space at Coastal Library. Equipment is provided with Anthony Spears from South Walton High School leading the group. All after school readers are welcome to visit and read to Raja, a Reading Pals certified therapy dog with dog handler Joyce. Both Joyce and Raja are fully insured and trained. This is a show of poodles demonstrating their tricks for the "Ocean of Possibilities" summer reading theme with dog handler, Michelle Harrell. Summer Reading Activities for children and their families will be in the library June to August with children's Reading Challenges and children's Writing Challenges for prizes. You can pick up your Reading Passport and Writing Journal in the Coastal Library Children's section on your next visit.
