Winter Community Speaker Events 2026 Programs 10:00 am Wednesdays

Santa Rosa Beach, FL – Walton County Coastal Library “Winter Community Programs” Wednesdays, Jan 7 –March 4, 2026 at 10:00 am. All programs are designed for our adult community and families having entertaining and educational value while learning about our community and neighbors. For more information please call (850) 267-2809 Walton County Coastal Library, 437 Greenway Trail, Santa Rosa Beach. We are located behind the South Walton Government/Education Complex on HWY 331 South. Free for the public with limited seating.   Winter Community Programs 2026 Designed to Entertain while Learning About Our Community and Our Neighbors Wednesday’s 10:00 am Jan 7- March 4, 2026   January 7, 2026    Eboni Fondron; Jazz historian and vocalist. International performer and prominent recording artist based in Kansas City, MO Brought to us by the Rosemary Beach Foundation; Escape to Create.   January 14, 2026    Dave Clausen; Underwater Wonders; Snorkeling in the Florida Panhandle. Clausen is a retired federal fisheries biologist who has been snorkeling in the Florida Panhandle since 1998.  January 21, 2026   Brian Cammarano; Shorebird Stewardship Senior Coordinator; Florida Panhandle.  Brian is the Shorebird Stewardship Coordinator for Audubon Florida’s Coastal Team.  Partners and volunteers help protect Florida’s imperiled beach-nesting birds like the Snowy Plover and Least Tern. For an exciting look at the lives of beach-nesting birds and discover how you can play a role in protecting these imperiled species.   January 28, 2026   Emily Harrold; Documentary film producer and director with films aired nationally and internationally on platforms including PBS, Netflix, Hulu, HBO, CNN, Discovery, National Geographic, and MSNBC. — Along with Filmmaker Christine Murray previews her documentary project about one of the most important women who shaped 20th century art history in America, the forgotten Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven.  Brought to us by the Rosemary Beach Foundation; Escape to Create. February 4, 2026   Deanna Smith; Screenplay Author Extraordinaire along with Coastal Library Staff Present Murder at the Disco; A Murder Mystery Theater production Join in with the laughs, the antics, the theater of who dunnites in this romp of a story. February 11, 2026   Raymond Cyr; Musician Artist and Professional Drummer will perform- The Voice of the Drum. Drumming since 1961 his career began playing on a bass drum and then a tenor drum mastering the rudiments marching in a Drum and Bugle Corp known as The Scarlet Cadets out of Lewiston and Auburn, Maine.
