Amy Meyer, The Unbound Mama: I am a DeFuniak Springs native, homeschool mom of two, photographer, published author, energy healer, and movement maven. After years of battling with anxiety and depression, I began a healing journey with fitness and holistic practices, which led me to dive deeper into the mind, body, spirit integration. Bringing positive growth and change to my hometown/community is something I am passionate about and I love sharing that passion through my classes. My teaching style & philosophy is that yoga is for every body. I believe that when we tune into our own bodies & honor what it needs that we receive what we need. I regularly tell students in my classes: “this is your yoga, your mat.” This means: do what you can, with what you have, leave all expectations at the door & focus on your body, mind & practice. Yoga is called a “practice” for a reason. I look forward to being a part of your journey!
